FS is my fav dev.. i would love to see sequels to demon souls ( although dark souls 2 is just as good imo ), armored core 6 ( although im pretty pumped about verdict day, hopefully it comes to the states ), 3d dot, tenchu, otogi, enchanted arms and ninja blade
they may not have as high of production values and/or could use a bit more polish but one thing they always nail is the fun factor which is rarely matched. they are also one of the few devs who dont dumb down their game...

i think the problem with their reveal is that it didnt show much at all or detail the game much. im still not even sure what kind of game it is. looked like an fps, sounded like an fps but then the dev called it an action game and all the "social" aspects of it made it look more like an mmo.
the art design was very cool though. im def interested in it but not super hyped.

agreed its sort of bs. if i buy a new game there thats sealed, cut it open in the store and try to give it back it used. however if they break the seal its still new. if there employee takes it home and plays it, its still new. bullsh*t if you ask me.

2. if the game is good the dev likely earned a fan who will buy their next game.

i love borderlands and halo but i can def see where their short cummings are. id give them 8's but still recommend them to everyone. gears is hit or miss for me, i didnt like the sp in any but #2 and i think the mp is lame other than horde mode. i didnt give bioshock enough of a fair chance to properly judge it.

i dont. id like them but if they didnt drop for another 2 years i wouldnt care. i have 170 games for 360 and 30 for ps3. i havent beaten all of them ( not even close in fact ) and i love buying older games for cheap. it will be a while before i "need" them personally.

i dont think thats the reason people want it. people like myself want it because a new consoles library is typically pretty weak for the first year or two with the exception of like 3 games. so you buy it to play those three games and in between those releases you play older games or new games that werent made for the new hardware.
